GMAT Exam Pattern
Two out of the four segments of the GMAT are non-computer-adaptive sections – AWA and IR. The scores of these two sections will be mentioned separately and it will not be included in the cumulative total GMAT score.
Analytical Writing – Candidates get 30 minutes to attempt 1 question in this section.
Integrated Reasoning– The time limit for this section is 30 minutes and there are 12 questions to be answered.
Quantitative Reasoning– It has a time limit of 62 minutes and the number of questions in this section is 31.
Verbal Reasoning– The duration for this section is 65 minutes and there are 36 questions in this section to be answered.

Test takers are also given a choice to select 1 option out of the 3 orders, in which they can attempt the four sections of the GMAT exam. This choice allows the students to be more flexible in taking the GMAT exam, based on their strength and testing preferences.
