Both are different. Strumming is essential for rhythm in song and tab plays a vital role for lead in song. So it's upto your interest. Bith cant is played simultaneously by one guitarist.

Yes, it will help you feel and understand the notes being played along with the chords better. You can learn how to play the chords and strumming you want and put it on a loop as a backing track and then practice your lead tabs along with it.

Yes, tabs and strumming go hand in hand as one needs to practice both in tandem so that one can learn how to understand proper metronome adherence and also note dynamic at the same time. However, it boils down to determining the right technique and applying the appropriate skill to the same. One needs to have a good teacher if you are in the initial stages of the guitar. Things like posture, Handgrip ( how tight / how relaxed) position of guitar etc. all go hand in hand.

First, you have to understand that guitar tabs aren't any musical thing; it is just a format to write and read musical notes. And here I am assuming that you're talking about learning melodies and chords with strummings together. So the answer is absolute. Yes, you can, and you must. These two aspects of music should be Pursue together only. Otherwise, it will get much more time for you to get a grip on melodies first and then go for chords and strummings. So keep practising both together, but do it step by step.
