Cell Biology: Where Do We Come From?

Evolution gave a good reason to us, humans, to be on earth. The reason is, not just to survive but how to survive, and that is the reason exactly why we are here.

Earlier it was believed that bacteria are our ancestors and we evolved from them. Gradually when the existence of a superior cell came into light, the belief changed. This change in belief was brought about by the group called Archaeabacteria. These group belong to some "extreme-loving" (extremophiles) beings, who can survive, just anywhere, say minus 4 degrees of Antarctic ice or 120 degrees of lava, high pressure sea vents, so just anywhere. What makes them so tough? Where humans cant think, how could they live? The fact more interesting to think is that, if these guys (archaea) are so invincible, are the ancestors of humans and bacteria are same?

Lets explore many such amazing facts together. Biology is a wonderful world of exploration!
